Personalized Backpacks

So I just went to the school I am going to next year and they don’t have lockers and its a private school so it has to be durable because I am going to be getting a lot of work. All the kids there had backpacks that they carried with them so I am just wondering what would be a good brand that will last for a while?
All I can think of is North Face for backpacks?
Any others like North Face?

I don’t want to many bold patterns because they may clash with some outfits.

What are the pros and cons for these backpacks: ( i dont know which one to get for my son)
-A backpack with wheels that you roll
-A normal backpacks with 2 shoulder straps
-A draw string backpack
- A backpack with one shoulder strap, like a handbag

which wont hurt his back as much
what is the proper way to wear each

I mean, kids have the right to privacy but if it may cost someones life or health, I think they should be able to, especially if they have like a lead or a reason to suspect that they might have something on them. Answer honestly and with detail.

For example, the lead in A Certain Scientific Railgun [the spinoff] she uses a frog accessory for her backpack. I know other girls in animes do the same. what is the name of this frog? i really want one too ^_^

Those that girls wear and they have a single strap that you put around you and the actual bag is at your hip.

I think they are called messenger bags, are they? Are there other names for them?

I have a small backpack, but i need to know the best way to wear coz i’m afraid i might get stolen from behind…

i was planning on using a backpack because i have to carry two heavy books, they’re paperback, but they’re still heavy. i have back problems and i could use a tote but i don’t want to put extra strain on my back. i have a super cute flowered/boho looking jansport backpack. is that ok on a college campus?

I would like to know your comments. are you against it or do you agree? up to what extend do you think this drastic measure is necessary?

I know there are messenger bags… but I’m actually looking for one that straps across the chest… and has a buckle on it… it’s a particular brand… and my friend wants it… but I don’t know the company name… if anyone can link it, that’d be great.

The only distinctive thing about it that I can remember is that the strap goes across the chest and buckles kind of like a seatbelt… all you have to do is press the button and it comes apart.
