Where is a good place to find travel backpacks?

I am going backpacking in Australia and need to find a good backpack. I am willing to spend a good chunk of money for one, but I have no idea where to look. Also, how big of a backpack will I need?

    I have seen a site that discusses backpacks and helps you choose them and also probvides links for purchasing too.

    If you have an REI close to you that’s where you need to go. If not try rei.com.
